Jody is our office manager.  She has been with our office since 1996.  She has degrees in General Education and Paralegal Technology from Southwestern Community College.  She is a North Carolina Certified Paralegal.  She has 20+ years‘ experience as a paralegal and is a Member of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice.

 

Heidi Handley

Heidi is a head paralegal in our office.  She has been with our office since 1999.  She has a degree in Criminal Justice from Southwestern Community College.  She is a North Carolina Certified Paralegal.  She has 19 years‘ experience as a paralegal and is a Member of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. 

Jordan Waldroop

Jordan is a paralegal with our office.  She has been with our office since 2014.  She has a degree in Paralegal Technology from Southwestern Community College, and will be graduating from Western Carolina University with a B.S. in History and a minor in Political Science in May 2020.  She is a North Carolina Certified Paralegal. Jordan is a Member of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice.

 

Amelia Teem

Amelia Teem has over twenty years of experience as a legal assistant/paralegal within all practice areas, with a concentration in real estate. When she isn’t working, you will find her either hiking, boating, or playing with her granddaughters.

 

Monica Shuler

Monica joined the firm in October of 2017.  Monica has had many years of banking experience as well as experience working in the medical field. When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her daughters and her granddaughter.

 

Sandra Merritt

Sandy is our newest employee who joined the firm in August, 2019.  Sandy has been a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) since 1987 and has worked at a variety of local medical providers.  Sandy has a number of years of medical transcription experience.  Sandy previously worked for a non-attorney disability representative for 14 years before joining our firm.  When she isn’t working, she spends time with her family and working in the great outdoors.

 

Cynthia Corrado

Cynthia is our office receptionist.  She has been with our team since 2003.  Cynthia has also been a member of Franklin Lions Club for 16 years, and serves as the Treasurer for the Franklin Lions Club.
